Designed and implemented McOpt, a Windows-based system that finds optimal TV advertising schedules, for McCann-Erickson, Inc.
Designed and prototyped Qualify++, a Windows-based system for testing C++ programming knowledge, for The C-Team, Inc.
Designed and implemented programs for daily and cumulative calculation of the Industrial Materials Price Index for the Journal of Commerce.
Designed and implemented C++ Windows software for measuring effectiveness of TV advertising schedules for McCann-Erickson, Inc.
Designed, implemented and published WHATNEXT prioritizer.
Designed and prototyped intelligent indexing system for startup publication.
Devised utilities for manipulation of XBase data files.
Wrote software reviews for PC Magazine.

August, 1988 - August, 1990: Programmer/Analyst, Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc.

Designed and implemented systems for management of unit investment trusts (first BSC PC-based system to upload data daily to corporate mainframe), daily trading profit and loss, specialist-clearance profit and loss; database with bond calculator for complex instruments.

January, 1987 - July, 1988: Programmer/Analyst, Management Resources International, Ltd.

Implemented portions of prototype customer-premises shipment processing system for DHL Airways, Inc., that led to production system now in use. Participated in specification and testing of software for barcode scanner now used by DHL couriers.

June, 1982 - January, 1987: Producing Commercial Software

Designed and implemented complete interpreter for C programming language developers. With a familiar, BASIC-like user interface, RUN/C sold strongly in the U.S. and Japan.
Developed original expert-system shell.
Developed software for automatic typesetting from popular word-processing packages.
Designed and implemented three commercially-published entertainment programs, two of them original games.
